Affordable, great battery life and an upgraded processor, the iPad 10.2-inch 8th generation, released alongside the iPad Air 4 in September of 2020 is a great entry-level iPad, if you’re looking not to spend too much money, I would say this is the best-suited iPad for you. The iPad 8th generation only costs 329$ and it’s pretty noticeable, you’ll be sacrificing some key benefits; including, clearer photos, a smaller screen display, a much bulkier design, and an advanced processor compared to the higher tier of Apple iPads. This may seem like quite the downsides but there definitely are great benefits as well, like being a great general-purpose tool, a decent battery life, lasting around 10 hours, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, supports Apple’s first-generation Pencil and its Smart Keyboard.

Should you buy the Apple iPad 8th Generation? Even with its downsides, this model is plenty good enough to be purchased, great for checking emails, a decent battery life, capable of using Apple’s first-generation Pencil and smart keyboard, you’ll be able to get quite the tasks done with this entry level iPad.
